How do you celebrate a 70-year fashion legacy in a way that preserves heritage and history while making the brand feel innovative, contemporary, and relevant for modern audiences?
Mixed.Place created an immersive museum fashion experience for Maskit’s anniversary exhibition, combining holographic storytelling, interactive visual experiences, and spatial content designed specifically for the exhibition environment. Throughout the exhibition, holographic fashion characters appeared beside the displays, wearing garments inspired by each historical period and collection. The digital figures guided visitors through the story of the brand, explained the cultural background behind the designs, and transformed static displays into living fashion experiences. The experience also included large-scale visual installations and interactive branded photo opportunities where visitors could take photos with the virtual fashion characters and share the experience socially, extending the exhibition beyond the museum itself.
Created a highly memorable museum attraction that increased visitor engagement, strengthened emotional connection to the brand, generated social sharing opportunities, and repositioned Maskit as a heritage fashion brand that successfully bridges history, culture, and innovation.
Maskit, one of Israel’s most iconic fashion brands, celebrated its 70-year anniversary through a large-scale museum exhibition showcasing the history, evolution, and cultural impact of the brand.
The challenge was to enrich the traditional museum experience while preserving the elegance and historical depth of the exhibition.
Mixed.Place developed an immersive storytelling layer that transformed static fashion displays into interactive living experiences.
Digital holographic fashion characters appeared throughout the exhibition, each styled according to the historical collection and visual language of the specific display area. The characters guided visitors through the exhibition, explained the inspiration behind the designs, and created emotional connections between the audience and the fashion pieces.
The project also included immersive visual installations, entrance experiences, and interactive social engagement areas where visitors could take photos with the holographic characters and receive memorable branded content from the experience.
By combining fashion, storytelling, museum design, and immersive technologies, the experience successfully transformed the exhibition into a contemporary cultural attraction that connected heritage with innovation and helped reposition the brand for new generations.
